Residential development model with lighting by unit

The brief. A property developer was opening a marketing suite for a scheme of three residential blocks around a shared garden and pool. They wanted a model that explained the whole site and let the sales team point out any flat while selling off-plan.
How we built it. We worked from the architect's DWG drawings and Revit model. Façades were laser-cut and engraved in acrylic and foamed PVC, then lacquered to match the colours in the specification. Balcony railings are photo-etched brass. Inside each block, every flat has its own LED wired to a controller, so a sales consultant can light up the unit a buyer is asking about from a tablet. Planting, figures and street furniture are all to scale, and the CNC-milled MDF base carries the roads and entrances. An acrylic case protects the whole piece.
The result. A centrepiece buyers can walk around to understand aspect, views and shared spaces long before the building exists. We delivered and installed it in the marketing suite and tested the lighting on site.
