What our model making projects show you
Each project follows the format architects and developers expect from a model maker: scale, base size, client and lead time up front, then the brief, how we built it and the finished piece. It's a quick way to judge whether a similar commission would suit your scheme and your programme.
Nothing is off the shelf. Our model makers work from your drawings, CAD or BIM files, or even sketches. They cut and print the parts in-house by laser, CNC milling or 3D printing, then assemble and finish every piece by hand. That's why two models at the same scale can differ widely in cost and lead time.
As a rough guide, a massing or competition model can be ready from 3–5 working days, a presentation model takes 2–4 weeks, and large-format pieces for developments, industry or museums take 4–10 weeks. For price ranges by model type, in euros excluding VAT, see our guide to model costs.
Working from the UK or elsewhere in Europe? Every model leaves the workshop in packaging built around it, with a wooden crate for large pieces, and we quote delivery outside Spain and on-site installation on request.
If one of these model making projects is close to what you have in mind, use our quote form to tell us the scale or size you're after, your deadline and which files you have. We work from DWG/DXF, PDF, Revit or IFC, SketchUp, Rhino, ArchiCAD and STL/OBJ/STEP, as well as sketches and photos. We'll come back within 1–2 working days with a proposal covering scale, materials, lead time and price.
Got drawings and a deadline?
Tell us what the model needs to explain and who will see it. We'll propose a scale, materials and lead time, with a written quote.
